Worcester City Council of The Guildhall, High Street, Worcester WR12EY HEREBY CERTIFY that on the 12 December 2024 the matter described in the First Schedule to this Certificate in respect of the land specified in the Second Schedule to this Certificate and outlined in red on the plan attached to this Certificate, would be lawful within the meaning of section 192 of the Town and Country Planning Act (as amended), for the following reason :- That the matter described in the First Schedule constitutes “permitted development” under the provisions of Schedule 2, Part 1 Class A & B of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (as amended) and therefore would not require the express consent of any planning authority.

As a precautionary approach, it is recommended that a licensed bat worker remains ‘on call’ during the development works. In the event that roosting bats are discovered work must cease immediately and the on-call ecologist contacted, they will liaise with Natural England (as required) to advise on any licensing requirements to allow lawful completion of the work.
