The demolition hereby approved shall be carried out in accordance with the submitted DemolitionManagement Plan. Reason: In the interests of highway and public safety
The applicant is reminded of the potential of any noise/dust nuisance whilst carrying out the demoliiton works and are directed to BS 5228-1:2009+A1:2014 Code of practice for noise and vibration control on construction and open sites.
If asbestos containing material (ACMs) are encountered in the building, and any ACMs removed during demolition, appropriate asbestos surveys prior to demolition and handling of ACMs during works should be undertaken by competent and qualified professionals with experience of surveying and handling ACMs.
Nesting birds are protected under the 1981 Wildlife and Countryside Act and the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000. The main nesting season lasts approximately from March to September, so work should take place outside these dates if at all possible.
