| The proposed front dormer would appear as an incongruous and visually intrusive feature within a uniform terrace of properties that are currently free from dormers on the principal roof slope. Its introduction would disrupt the established roofline and erode the architectural uniformity and character of this part of Northfield Street. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy SWDP 21 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan, the South Worcestershire Design Guide SPD, and paragraphs 135 and 139 of the National Planning Policy Framework (2024). |
