| The permission hereby granted shall be for a temporary period of five years from the date of this decision. The marquee and associated structures shall only be erected, used and operated between 1 November and 31 January in each calendar year. Outside of this period the marquee and all associated fixtures, fittings and equipment shall be completely removed from the site. Reason: To define the permission, ensure the development remains temporary, and to protect the character and appearance of the surrounding heritage assets, in accordance with SWDP 6, SWDP 24, and the National Planning Policy Framework. |
| The development hereby permitted shall be carried out and completed in accordance with the following approved plans and associated documents and the specifications and recommendations contained therein, except where otherwise stipulated by conditions attached to this permission Location Plan Site Plan with proposed marquee location Reason: To ensure compliance with the approved scheme and polices SWDP 6, 21 and 24 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan. |
| The marquee and all associated structures shall be fully removed from College Green by 31 January in each year of operation. The land shall be reinstated to its former condition (including turf repair where required) within 14 days of removal, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Reason: To ensure the temporary nature of the development and to protect the special historic and archaeological significance of the Cathedral Precinct and Scheduled Monument. |
| All works shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the approved Scheduled Monument Consent (Ref: S00241267) and any conditions attached thereto. No ground penetration or intrusive fixings shall take place unless approved under that consent. Reason: To protect the archaeological significance of the Scheduled Monument in accordance with SWDP 24 and Section 16 of the NPPF. |
| The Local Planning Authority has acted positively and proactively in determining this application by assessing the proposal against all material considerations, including planning policies and any representations that may have been received and subsequently determining to grant planning permission in accordance with the presumption in favour of sustainable development, as set out within the National Planning Policy Framework. |
