Condition Details / Information Notes
The works to which this Listed Building Consent relates must be commenced before the expiration of three years beginning with the date of this consent. Reason: To conform with the requirements of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by Section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
The development hereby permitted shall be carried out and completed in accordance with the following approved plans and associated documents and the specifications and recommendations contained therein, except where otherwise stipulated by conditions attached to this permission Site Location Plan Site Plan & Block Plan, Ref 597099-5 Existing Signage, Ref 597099-2 Existing Signage, Ref 597099-1 Proposed Signage, Ref 597099-3 Rev A Proposed Signage, Ref 597099-4 Rev A Planning Statement dated 6th May 2026 Design & Access Statement dated 6th May 2026 Reason: To ensure compliance with the approved scheme
The luminance of the illuminated advertisement shall not exceed 200 candelas per square metre (cd/m²) at any time when illuminated, as measured in accordance with the current guidance issued by the Institute of Lighting Professionals for the measurement of illuminated advertisements. Reason: To safeguard visual amenity and the setting and significance of designated and non-designated heritage assets, in accordance with Policies SWDPR 09 and SWDPR 33 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review 2026.
Notwithstanding the submitted details, all signs hereby approved shall be finished in a matte paint or a similar non-reflective finish. Gloss or reflective finishes shall not be used on any sign(s) without the prior written approval of the local planning authority. Reason: In the interests of visual amenity and to preserve the character and appearance of the conservation area and historic setting of the listed building in accordance with Policies SWDPR 09 and 33.
The Local Planning Authority has acted positively and proactively in determining this application by assessing the proposal against all material considerations, including planning policies and any representations that may have been received and subsequently determining to grant planning permission in accordance with the presumption in favour of sustainable development, as set out within the National Planning Policy Framework.
