Condition Details / Information Notes
The proposed front-facing dormer windows, by reason of their siting, design and prominence on the principal roof slope, introduce features that are uncharacteristic of the host dwelling and the immediate street scene. The development would disrupt the established roofscape character of Avon Road and result in an incongruous and visually intrusive form of development that fails to respond positively to local character. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy SWDP 28 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan, the South Worcestershire Design Guide SPD and the design objectives of the emerging Worcester City Extensions and Alterations to Dwellings and Houses in Multiple Occupation Supplementary Planning Document 2026.
