| The works to which this Listed Building Consent relates must be commenced before the expiration of three years beginning with the date of this consent. Reason: To conform with the requirements of Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as amended by Section 51 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004. |
| The development hereby permitted shall be carried out and completed in accordance with the following approved plans and associated documents and the specifications and recommendations contained therein, except where otherwise stipulated by conditions attached to this permission Location Plan Scope of Works Heritage Statement Reason: To ensure compliance with the approved scheme and policies SWDPR 9, 28 and 33 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review. |
| (A) No development shall take place until a programme of archaeological work, including a Written Scheme of Investigation, has been submitted to and approved by the local planning authority in writing. The scheme shall include an assessment of significance and research questions; and: 1) The programme and methodology of site investigation and recording. 2) The programme for post investigation assessment. 3) Provision to be made for analysis of the site investigation and recording. 4) Provision to be made for publication and dissemination of the analysis and records of the site investigation. 5) Provision to be made for archive deposition of the analysis and records of the site investigation. 6) Nomination of a competent person or persons/organisation to undertake the works set out within the Written Scheme of Investigation. (B) The development shall not be occupied until the site investigation and post investigation assessment has been completed in accordance with the programme set out in the Written Scheme of Investigation approved under condition (A) and the provision made for analysis, publication and dissemination of results and archive deposition has been secured. Reason: To ensure that appropriate recording, investigation, analysis and dissemination of information relating to the historic fabric affected by the works is undertaken, in accordance with Policies SWDPR 9 and SWDPR 33 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review and Policies HE5 and HE10 of the National Planning Policy Framework. |
| No repair works to the stone bridge shall commence until full written details of the proposed repairs have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The submitted details shall include: • Method statements for the removal of damaged stonework and installation of replacement materials, ensuring minimal loss of historic fabric; • Details of any cleaning methods, which shall be the minimum necessary and shall avoid abrasive or harmful techniques; • Full details of the repair or reinstatement of all architectural features, mouldings, copings, parapets, or other decorative and structural elements, to match the existing in form, profile, and finish; The works shall thereafter be carried out strictly in accordance with the approved details and shall ensure that repairs are undertaken on a like-for-like basis, preserving the character, appearance, and historic significance of the listed structure. Reason To safeguard the special architectural and historic interest and significance of the Grade II listed bridge and to ensure that the works preserve the significance of the designated heritage asset, in accordance with Sections 16 and 72 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, Policies SWDPR 9, SWDPR 28 and SWDPR 33 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review, and Policies HE4, HE5 and HE6 of the National Planning Policy Framework. |
| Prior to the implementation of any additional structural works or significant elements of repair not specifically included within the current application details, which are found to be required following the careful dismantling of the collision damage, details of the proposed works shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The works shall then be carried out in accordance with the approved specification. Reason: To safeguard the special architectural and historic interest and significance of the Grade II listed bridge and to ensure that the works preserve the significance of the designated heritage asset, in accordance with Sections 16 and 72 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, Policies SWDPR 9, SWDPR 28 and SWDPR 33 of the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review, and Policies HE4, HE5 and HE6 of the National Planning Policy Framework. |
